Can you tell us a little about The Femin and how it got started?
The Femin is founded in 2014, featuring female fashion. It used to be a part of A Day Magazine, but we want to go deeper and provide more fashion related information to our readers. And that’s why you see The Femin as an independent website now.

What is your strategy to stand out from your competitors?
We are creating our own style, especially on posts’ titles and featured image. Recently, we have hired a graphic designer to create eye catching featured images. Besides, we try to make sure that our articles are unique and of good quality.

What are the main challenges faced by you in this highly dynamic online media ecosystem?
The main challenges we meet is plagiarism. We constantly find our articles appear on other websites, which really annoys us. We are still thinking about effective ways to prevent it.

Other than your own, what are your favorite websites out there?
Refinery29, Stylecaster, Whowhatwear. They all have great fashion content and very nice web design.

What role does Innity play in your business and what do you like most about working with Innity?
Innity works as our advertising sales representative and helps to sell the advertising spaces of To work with Innity, I think The Femin could go further in the future. For one thing, Innity has a good potential in looking for advertisers and selling ad placement. For another, the A Day Media team could focus more on the development and the quality of our website with the help of Innity.

Where do you see The Femin in 3 years time and what do you hope to achieve?
We will try to collaborate with celebrities and bloggers, and I hope The Femin will become one of the well known website in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
