What do you like most about your job as a media planner?
Being unsung heroes of the Media industry
What’s the biggest challenge in your job?
Getting new clients onboard for digital.
And what has this job taught you?
To remain calm and to not jump into conclusions whenever facing crisis, which conveniently applies to my day to day.
How do you explain what you do to your family?
We plan where ads go, no we don’t design them, we plan where they should be placed so people like you can see them :)
What do you do to de-stress after work?
Good company, good music and good drinks!
What qualities do you most admire in people?
An optimistic outlook in life, bring on the right attitude and it will bring you places!
Are there any industry trends and technologies that you find exciting right now that might help your clients?
Noticed that there are more upcoming branded content videos that is hosted on the Youtube branded channels. Localized content helps drive tremendous views, we as Malaysians can always relate to something that is close to heart.
What issues or challenges are your clients facing right now?
Running a digital campaign to reach out to folks living in the less developed areas.
What’s a recent campaign that you were impressed with and thought was just brilliant?
The South African Volkswagen campaign “Pin It To Win It”, simple challenge integrating Google’s Street View application and Facebook. Volkswagen Street Quest is a Facebook challenge to find and ‘Pin’ as many Volkswagens on South African roads as possible –
